The REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) has created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy so that you, as a visitor to RAGC’s Web Site will be aware of the uses made of information that may be generated as a result of you using our Web Site. For our website CincyRealtorAlliance.com, we maintain the following privacy policy:

  1. RAGC gathers the following types of information needed to process your transactions, fulfill your requests, and maintain our membership records:
    • Contact information (such as name, firm affiliation and titles, postal address, email address, fax number, telephone and/or mobile numbers).
    • Tracking information which our Web server automatically recognizes each time you visit one of our sites or communicate with us by email (for example, your domain name and what pages you visit).
    • Information you volunteer, via applications or surveys (for example, education, designations, specialties, affiliations with other real estate organizations and general demographic data).
    • Username and password when you register through our Services.
    • Your social security number or payment information, when needed to facilitate certain transactions.
    • Reviews, comments, evaluations and/or surveys; and
    • Other information you may provide to us, such as through our “Submit a Request” or “Contact Us” feature.
  2. RAGC or service providers acting on our behalf, may uses this information to:
    • Create and manage online accounts.
    • Provide our products and services, including authorizing a purchase, or completing a transaction that you requested.
    • Improve and customize the content and layout of our sites and other communications tools, such as RAGC News, social media postings, Call to Action, RAGC Education News online and print.
    • Notify you of updates to our sites.
    • Notify you of relevant products and services.
    • Communicate about, and administer participation in, special events, programs, classes, and surveys
    • Compile specialty directories about which you will be made aware.
    • Track usage of our sites.
    • Assist State and National REALTOR® associations and affiliated Institutes, Societies, and Councils in membership tracking and for their use for purposes similar to those listed above.
    • In other ways for which we provide specific notice at the time of collection.
  3. RAGC will not share, sell, or otherwise provide contact information about you except for the following purposes:
    • State and National Associations: Ohio REALTORS® (“OR”) and National Association of REALTORS® (“NAR”). We may share information about you with the OR and NAR and its affiliates in connection with business, advocacy, and real estate related matters of interest to OR, the NAR or both, who may use such information to contact you or otherwise with respect to such matters
    • Our Subsidiaries and Affiliated Businesses. Partners in our RAGC Affinity Program for the limited purpose of notifying you of RAGC -approved promotions. Our affiliated program may use your personal information consistent with this Privacy Notice.
    • With our Service Providers. With third parties who perform services on our behalf.
    • With our clients or Business Partners. With our third-party clients or business partners, such as realtors, landlords, and other Professionals to facilitate your transactions.
    • For Legal Requirements and Proceedings. We may disclose information to law enforcement authorities or other government officials if we are required to do so to comply with subpoenas, court orders, legal process or other law enforcement or other government measures, and to comply with other legal obligations. We may also disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity.
    • To Protect our Services and Users. We may disclose information to protect and defend the rights, interests and safety of the Services, our subsidiaries and affiliates, and their employees, contractors and agents; to protect the security and safety of our users of the Services, including when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss.
    • For Business Transfers. In the event of a proposed or completed sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a reorganization, dissolution, or liquidation).
    • With Your Consent. We may share your information with select third-party partners with your consent or at your direction so they can send you promotions, ads or offers about their services or products that you may be interested in.
    • Non-personal Information. When the information collected from or about you is not defined as personal information under applicable law, we may share such non-personal, de-identified information or aggregated information with third parties at our discretion.
    • Email contact information. RAGC does not share, sell, or trade email addresses, except for the information required to maintain your State and National association membership. RAGC may use your email address to directly send you information and may provide you with online informational or marketing messages that have been approved by RAGC together with other communications to which you have subscribed.
    • Other forms of contact information. Forms of contact information other than email address (for example, street address) may be listed in the membership directories available on CincyRealtorAlliance.com.
  4. Credit information that you and credit authorizers provide when you make payments by credit card for products, dues or other services via the CincyRealtorAlliance.com or www.cincypay.com or provided internally by staff collected payment will only be used to process the transactions you request. This information will never be sold, shared, or provided to other third parties.
  5. RAGC  follows generally accepted standards to protect the information it collects and makes available via its Web sites. RAGC tests their security procedures regularly and modifies them as new technologies become feasible.
  6. RAGC utilizes a strict Opt-Out policy for sending online notifications regarding services, products and programs. You may adjust your Communication Preferences via the Member Portal.
  7. You may edit your personal contact information via the Member Portal.
  8. Do-Not-Track Disclosure: Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature that allows you to communicate to websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Our system does not respond to Do-Not-Track requests or headers from some or all browsers at this time.
