The course examines all types of negotiation formats and methods. A full spectrum of tips, tools, techniques and advantages will be provided so that negotiators can provide effective results for their client.

The second half of the course focuses on real-world field scenarios to help negotiators apply the power tools, techniques and tactics learned on day one. Understanding the tactics and techniques is one thing but learning how to recognize them being done and using them effectively requires practice. These field scenarios provide the foundational experience and practice negotiators need to master so they can effectively advocate for their clients.

RENE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Must be completed within two (2) years of enrolling (starting with the date of your RENE course)

  • Negotiate effectively face-to-face, on the phone or through email and other media.

The course examines all types of negotiation formats and methods. A full spectrum of tips, tools, techniques and advantages will be provided so that negotiators can provide effective results for their client.

The second half of the course focuses on real-world field scenarios to help negotiators apply the power tools, techniques and tactics learned on day one. Understanding the tactics and techniques is one thing but learning how to recognize them being done and using them effectively requires practice. These field scenarios provide the foundational experience and practice negotiators need to master so they can effectively advocate for their clients.

RENE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Must be completed within two (2) years of enrolling (starting with the date of your RENE course)

  • Complete the RENE course
  • Maintain active REALTOR® membership (exception: non-US individuals)

It’s Time to Close More & Lose Less!  Deals die in many ways that are not your fault.  In this session, you will look at potential Deal Killing issues with titles, appraisals, inspections, mortgages, and even other agents.  You will learn the tools to minimize the number of deals lost due to an outside influence.  You will understand how to resuscitate and ultimately close deals that would otherwise die.  The immediate result is healthier deals and happier customers.

Prior to entering the real estate industry as an agent in 2008, Josh was a commercial real estate investor and business owner, providing him with a robust knowledge of the financial aspect of real estate.  He became a full-time real estate agent and within the first two years earned his broker license and many of the real estate-related designations.  Josh transitioned into a leadership role at his brokerage, assisting, training, and mentoring agents to help them achieve success and reach their full potential in real estate.  He learned the mistakes that many agents make that the successful agents avoid and developed his philosophy of “not just closing deals but closing customers for life.”  As a national real estate speaker, his teaching focuses on the real-world skills that agents need to be true advocates and trusted resources for their customers.
