MEDICAL INSURANCE | Scheller Bradford Group

Long-time supplier of medical and dental insurance products to RAGC, John Harder of The Scheller Bradford Group (“SBG”), has partnered with the Health Exchange Marketplace Agency (“HEMA”) to offer RAGC membership access to a “quoting engine” to seek, evaluate, and purchase medical coverage from a variety of insurance carriers.

As independent agents, SBG/HEMA will review the personal data supplied by members to create custom proposals.  Options may be “Off-Exchange” or “On-Exchange” (aka “The Marketplace”) if a member is eligible for federal tax credits and cost-sharing subsidies.

Accordingly, the full and accurate completion of a “fillable form,” which requires, among other important information, household income (note: from ALL working family members) to determine financial assistance availability is crucial and imperative.  Coverage is guaranteed to all that apply, and pre-existing condition limitations are prohibited.

SBG/HEMA will assist in determining premium assistance eligibility, benefit plan selection, and the completion and submission of applications to insurance carriers, so that members may totally avoid the frustrating site, “healthcare.gov.”
