Learn the updates that have been made to the Code of Ethics, and the new enforcement procedures taking effect in 2018. You will learn the difference between the Canon of Ethics and the laws, and the Code of Ethics with NAR. Students will examine different case studies to learn violations of the Canon and the Code, the enforcement procedures, and the penalties agents can face when in found in violation. The instructor will highlight common misunderstandings or misinterpretations of the Canon and the Code.

Join us on Thursday, September 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holocaust & Humanity Center for a three-hour learning experience that examines how bias, discrimination, and systems of exclusion develop and how they can be interrupted. Through lessons from the Center’s galleries, upstander behavior, and the VIA Character Strengths framework, participants will gain practical strategies to support equitable, lawful, and inclusive real estate practices that affirmatively further fair housing.
