Real estate agents deal with ever-increasing regulations. Although the federal Fair Housing Act has been in force for over 40 years, the way it is applied to everyday real estate continues to evolve.

This is your chance to get up to speed on fair housing requirements and ensure you are following the law.

No fair housing course would be complete without reviewing the act and its amendments. In addition, this course applies the law to today’s marketplace, including fair housing issues commonly found in property management and advertising. You will review actual fair housing cases and discover practical examples that give you the know-how and tools to stay in compliance.

Safety First! September is REALTOR® Safety Month—the perfect time to strengthen the habits that help protect you and your clients.

This course will help REALTORS® recognize warning signs, reduce risks during everyday real estate activities, and respond effectively when dangerous situations arise. Participants will leave with practical strategies to make safety second nature throughout their real estate business.

Join us on Thursday, September 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holocaust & Humanity Center for a three-hour learning experience that examines how bias, discrimination, and systems of exclusion develop and how they can be interrupted. Through lessons from the Center’s galleries, upstander behavior, and the VIA Character Strengths framework, participants will gain practical strategies to support equitable, lawful, and inclusive real estate practices that affirmatively further fair housing.
