We appreciate the work our affiliates do with our members and our association.  As our way of saying thank you, we’re shining the spotlight this month on Patti McClister!

In the bustling world of real estate, where every transaction holds a story, there’s a silent force driving the industry forward – the Affiliate members of the REALTOR Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC). Among these dedicated professionals is Patti McClister, whose journey with RAGC is emblematic of dedication, service, and a passion for the community.

Leslie Besl interviewed Patti about her real estate career.  Congratulations Patti!

How long have you been a member of RAGC? This is my second year.  I was a member of CABR for 20 years before moving to Cincinnati.

What committees do you (have you) served on at RAGC? Affiliate Committee

What benefit(s) do you feel you receive as a member? The opportunity to give back to the industry, the opportunity to network with Realtors and Affiliates, which allows me to learn and partner with great people

How long have you been in your industry? I started as a Loan Processor in 1992 and became an LO in 1995.

What is your biggest career achievement? I served in several leadership positions throughout my career, and helping others achieve success and grow their businesses was almost as satisfying as sitting at closing with a buyer who never thought they would own a home.

What advice would you give to yourself if you were just starting your business today? Remember that what you do is important. You impact lives every day, and sometimes, the right answer is “not yet.” Helping someone get a mortgage is not a one-and-done thing. You build relationships with people and become part of their lives. Give them the advice, patience, and kindness you would give to your family members.

What do you enjoy doing with your personal time? Riding our tandem bicycle with my husband on the many beautiful bike paths we have here.  I also enjoy reading, crocheting and playing fetch with my Chihuahua, Piper.
