A Tax Decrease?

Yes! Effective March 1, 2021, Hamilton County property owners should see a 1.0 mill decrease in the Hamilton County Transfer & Conveyance Fee or “Transfer Tax”.

At its February 11, 2021 meeting this week, Hamilton County Commissioners will hold a 2^nd Public Hearing to reduce the County’s Real Property Transfer Tax by 1.0 mill.
