The Greater Cincinnati housing market across Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, and Warren counties showed continued growth in July, as home sales and total sold volume increased alongside rising inventory, according to the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati.
The median sold price reached $329,450 in July, a 1.4% increase compared to the same month last year, reflecting continued strength in home values across the region. Year-to-date, the median sold price stands at $320,000, up 4.9% from the same period in 2025.
Buyer activity remained strong in July, with 1,880 homes sold, a 5.9% increase compared to July 2025. Total sold volume also increased 7.0% to $757.6 million, highlighting continued activity across the region. Year-to-date, 10,828 homes have sold, a 2.9% increase, while total sold volume has reached more than $4.2 billion, up 6.8% compared to the same period in 2025.
Housing inventory also continued to expand, giving buyers more options during the summer market. Active inventory increased 5.7% to 3,271 homes, while 2,648 new listings came on the market, a 7.3% increase from July 2025. The additional inventory provides buyers with more opportunities to find a home while sellers continue to benefit from strong home values and buyer demand.
“July’s numbers point to a housing market that is gaining momentum while moving toward greater balance,” said Rob Streicher, 2026 President of the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. “Inventory and new listings are increasing, giving buyers more choices, while continued sales activity and rising home values demonstrate that demand remains healthy across Greater Cincinnati. As conditions shift, understanding the local market is increasingly important for anyone considering a move.”
Homes continued to move at a relatively quick pace in July, with a median of nine days on market. While that represents a 28.6% increase compared to July 2025, well-priced homes continue to attract buyer interest in an active market.
As the summer market progresses, July’s housing data points to continued growth and opportunity across the Greater Cincinnati region. Increased inventory and new listings are giving buyers more choices, while strong home values and continued demand are creating opportunities for sellers.
