Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, and Warren Counties’ home sales were up 7.6% in June 2023 from May 2023, but were down 20.7% compared to June 2022.

“Realtors® named a lack of inventory as the most important factor limiting potential clients from making a purchase, according to the National Association of Realtors®’ 2023 Member Profile. This annual report analyzes members’ business activity and demographic, said Jessica Lautz, NAR deputy chief economist and vice president of research. “Housing inventory and affordability continue to be the top obstacles that hold back potential clients in the housing market.”

The median sales price increased in June 2023 but only by 0.3% from May. The median price is up 3.8% from June 2022.

The days on the market increased 50% to 3 days but remained steady with June 2022, with no change with single-family residences and condominiums standing at the three days on the market.

New listings are up in June 2023 by 2.4% from May 2023 but down 21.2% from June last year.

Active inventory increased 8.8% to 2497 from May 2023 but dropped 4.4% from June 2022.

The market is still tight with 0.9 months of supply.
