The REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati’s Community Outreach Committee is proud to announce its participation in the annual Toys for Tots campaign, running from Nov. 1 through Dec. 9, 2024. This initiative aims to bring holiday joy to children in need throughout our region by collecting and distributing new, unwrapped toys.
Since its founding in 1947, Toys for Tots has been a beloved program of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, providing hope and cheer to millions of less fortunate children. By partnering with this iconic organization, the REALTOR® Alliance is committed to making a positive impact on the local community during the holiday season.
Members, partners, and the public are encouraged to contribute to the toy drive by dropping off donations at designated collection points throughout the city. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that every child experiences the magic of the holidays. We’re also offering the opportunity for offices to have Toys for Tots drop-off boxes delivered before Nov. 1, making it easier for everyone to participate. Toys for Tots will then handle the pickup and distribution of the toys.
“We are thrilled to be part of such a meaningful cause,” said Cathy Petersman, Membership Director and Community Outreach Staff Liaison. “Organizing this toy drive with Toys for Tots gives us an incredible opportunity to spread joy to children in need, and it truly reflects our commitment to supporting the communities we serve. I’m grateful for the generosity of our members and the greater Cincinnati community as we come together to make a difference this holiday season.”
If you’re interested in participating or have any further questions, please contact Cathy Petersman at [email protected].
If you would like to make a monetary donation, please drop off a check, cashier’s check or money order made payable: Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to RAGC 400 E. Business Way, Suite 100, Sharonville, OH 45241.
97% of every donation goes directly to providing toys to children. The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity which was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps in 1991.
