The REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) is thrilled to announce that the National Association of REALTORS® has approved our funding request to support the 2025 OWN Cincy Housing Symposium—a groundbreaking three-day event focused on advancing equity and expanding access to homeownership across our region.
Spearheaded by Cincinnati Vice Mayor, and REALTOR®, Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney and powered by a coalition of public and private partners, the symposium will be held later this summer and includes:
-
Day 1: A deep-dive housing policy forum
-
Day 2: Hands-on workshops and a wealth-building resource fair
-
Day 3: A REALTOR®-led Regional Open House Day featuring homes under $300,000
The event is expected to draw hundreds of community members, aspiring homeowners, industry leaders, and elected officials—and thanks to this national funding, it will be even more impactful.
“We are honored to receive this support from NAR and proud to be part of a community-wide effort that puts real tools and solutions into the hands of residents,” said Mary Huttlinger, RAGC Government Affairs Director. “This is about breaking down barriers and creating pathways to ownership. REALTORS® are showing up as true partners in that mission.”
The project was brought to life through the leadership of and deep partnership with long-time housing advocate Darrick Dansby, a former Realtist President and the current project lead.
“OWN Cincy isn’t just another event—it’s a movement. We’re working with policymakers, nonprofits, lenders, and REALTORS® to tackle systemic barriers and create generational wealth,” said Darrick Dansby. “This grant reinforces the REALTOR® commitment to equity and community empowerment.”
RAGC is proud to collaborate with the City of Cincinnati and dozens of housing partners to bring this vision to life. Stay tuned for registration information and more details coming soon!
