On September 10, the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) marked a milestone by hosting its first-ever campaign-specific event. More than 50 REALTORS® gathered at Gather Cincy to meet with Cincinnati City Councilmember Mark Jeffreys, who is seeking re-election this November.
The evening was filled with energy and enthusiasm as members heard firsthand from Councilmember Jeffreys about his vision for Cincinnati and his
commitment to advancing housing and equitable growth. As Chair of the Equitable Growth and Housing Committee, Jeffreys has consistently proven to be a friend and partner to REALTORS®, supporting policies that strengthen housing access, property ownership, and community development.
In recognition of his continued leadership, the RPAC Trustees voted to reaffirm their endorsement of Jeffreys’ candidacy and to make a financial contribution to his campaign.
Voices from RAGC Leadership
Kelly Meyer, RPAC Trustee Chair
“This event is a testament to how REALTORS® show up when it matters most. Councilmember Jeffreys has demonstrated again and again that he listen
s to our members and understands how housing policy impacts the entire community. Supporting his re-election ensures that we have a strong advocate for housing and equitable growth on City Council.”
Mary Huttlinger, RAGC Government Affairs Director
“This was truly a historic moment for RAGC. Not only did we bring together an incredible turnout of more than 50 REALTORS®, but we also demonstrated the power of grassroots advocacy in action. Our members know that Councilmember Jeffreys has been a consistent champion for housing issues—and this kind of engagement strengthens our voice at City Hall.”
Maura Black, Vice Chair of the Advocacy Committee
“The success of this event shows the importance of connecting directly with our elected officials. REALTORS® are on the front lines of housing every day, and having leaders like Councilmember Jeffreys who value that expertise makes a real difference. I’m proud of our members for stepping up and engaging in this critical way.”
