Payment Policy

Dues for the National Association of REALTORS® and Ohio REALTORS® are due thirty days after billing (approximately January 1). Annual membership renewal for REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati is due July 1. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to pay membership fees by the due date, whether or not an e-bill was received. Payment received after the stated due date will be assessed a $50.00 late fee, and non-payment will be reported to your Designated REALTOR® for collection.  Member will be suspended if full payment is not received by the suspension deadline (15 days from the due date). At the time of suspension, an additional $100 late fee is assessed for each unpaid invoice.  The Designated REALTOR® and all licensees will be suspended if full payment and late fees are not received within five days after member suspension. Full payment of dues and late fees is necessary to reinstate the Designated REALTOR® membership. Reinstating members are not eligible for any proration or waiver of membership fees.”

MLS Subscription fees are due annually on July 1. In 2023 only, a one-time pro-rated 3-month MLS subscription fee will be due April 1. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to pay subscription fees by the due date, whether or not an e-bill was received. Payment received after the due date (July 2) will be assessed as a $20.00 late fee.

On the fifteenth (15th) calendar day from the due date (16th of the Month), individual subscribers whose fees are not paid in full shall have their MLS subscription, including Electronic Key Services, suspended and a $20 reinstatement fee assessed. If the Office fees are not paid, MLS services for the entire office will be suspended, and a $20 reinstatement fee will be assessed.

On the fifteenth (15th) calendar day from the suspension date (August 1), any outstanding MLS Subscription and late fees will result in MLS termination for the entire office.

All credit card payments must be made online via the Member Portal. Split payments are not accepted. For security reasons, staff will not process credit card payments over the phone. Checks under $2,500 are not accepted in-house and must be processed online through our Member Portal e-check feature.

Application Fees

Association and MLS application fees will be assessed to any new or returning accounts with one complete billing cycle lapse without membership or service.

Refund Policy

REALTOR® local, state, and national dues are nonrefundable.

All MLS subscription fees are nonrefundable.

All SentriLock services are nonrefundable.

RPAC Disclaimer Statement

26 U.S.C. 162(e) requires that the portion of dues attributable to lobbying and political activities at the Local, State and Federal levels of government be considered nondeductible for income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary and are used for political purposes. The RPAC amount indicated is merely a guideline and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amount. The National Association of REALTORS® and its state and local associations will not favor or disadvantage any member because of the amount contributed or a decision not to contribute. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. 40% of each contribution is used by your local PAC to support local political candidates and issues, 30% is sent to the state PAC to support state and local political candidates; 30% is sent to National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116. Notwithstanding this general allocation formula, the allocation may change and all or a portion of your contribution may be allocated to other political accounts maintained by Ohio REALTORS® if a contribution exceeds limits under the and/or if a contribution falls outside time limits under 52 U.S.C. 30102.

Non-Deductible Percentages of Dues Payments & Assessments

$10 of RAGC local dues for specific lobbying and political expenditures are not deductible for income tax purposes. $40 of Ohio REALTORS® dues is used by Ohio REALTORS® to engage in independent political expenditures to influence the election or defeat of State or Federal candidates, as well as Local or State ballot issues; this amount is non-deductible for the member’s income tax purposes. For the additional dues of $180 per member, Ohio REALTORS® computes 11% or $19.25 to be non-deductible due to Ohio REALTORS® lobbying effort. The total non-deductible for Ohio Realtor® dues is $59.25. For 2023, with dues at $150 per member, NAR computes 34% or $51 to be nondeductible for the member’s income tax purposes due to NAR lobbying efforts.

Please note that the entire $45 Consumer Advertising Campaign special assessment qualifies as fully deductible. Updated: October 2022
