The REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) is proud to announce it has been awarded a $7,500 Housing Opportunity Grant from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) to host a Southwestern Symposium on Housing Development this fall.

This high-impact, solution-focused event will bring together elected officials, REALTORS®, developers, planners, lenders, and land banks from across Hamilton, Butler, and Warren counties for a deep dive into one of the most promising new housing resources in the state: the Ohio REALTORS® Housing Template Toolbook.

Developed by Ohio REALTORS® in partnership with the Greater Ohio Policy Center, the Housing Ohio: Tools for Development guidebook features:

The symposium will highlight how communities across Southwest Ohio can put these tools into action—from adapting house renderings to local code, to leveraging modular construction and creative financing to bring affordable housing online faster.

What to Expect:

“Receiving this grant is a vote of confidence in REALTORS® as critical partners in solving Ohio’s housing challenges,” said Mary Huttlinger, Government Affairs Director for RAGC. “Our region is ready for bold ideas and real tools—and this symposium will deliver both.”

RAGC Advocacy Chair Heather Kopf added, “This isn’t just another policy discussion—this is about execution. Local leaders need real tools to get housing built, and the Housing Ohio toolkit provides just that. We’re excited to bring everyone to the table to move from conversation to construction.”

The event is expected to draw a variety of leaders interested in coming together to develop real solutions. Post-event resources and technical assistance will also be made available to local governments and community partners interested in adopting or adapting the Housing Ohio framework.

Event details and registration information will be announced soon.
