CINCINNATI, OH (July 16, 2024) – The REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati has released its June 2024 home sales report, showing a positive trend in the real estate market across Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont counties. The data highlights an increase in median sold prices and active inventory, signaling a solid housing market despite decreased units sold.

According to the report, the total volume sold for June 2024 was $599,497,607, an 11% decrease compared to last year. The median sold price rose by 3.7% to $310,000. New listings saw a significant jump of 3.4%, contributing to an active inventory of 2,254 units. However, the number of units sold decreased by 12.3%, reflecting a market adjustment.

Year-to-date figures also show growth, with the total sold volume reaching $2,992,200,595, a 6.7% increase from the prior year-to-date total of $2,805,528,475. The year-to-date median sold price climbed by 6.2%, from $275,000 to $292,000. New listings for the year are slightly up by 0.7%, totaling 8,492.

Tracy Dunne, President of the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, commented on the latest data: “June’s home sales report underscores the resilience and strength of our local real estate market. Despite a slight dip in the number of units sold, the increase in median prices and active inventory indicates robust demand and a healthy market environment. Our members continue to work diligently to meet the needs of buyers and sellers in the Greater Cincinnati area.”

The median days on the market remained stable at three days, illustrating the quick turnover and competitiveness of the current market.
