Home sales activity and median prices rose across Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties in November compared to the same period a year ago, according to the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati.

Home sales in November 2024 reached 1,376, a 15.1% increase from the 1,195 sales recorded during the month last year. The median sales price across the four-county area reached $291,251, a 5.7% increase from the $275,545 mark posted in November 2023.

“The Greater Cincinnati housing market continues to show strength, with both sales activity and median prices exhibiting solid, stable growth as we near the end of the year, combined with moderating interest rates,” said Tracy Dunne, President of the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. “Equally important, we’re experiencing a steady uptick in the number of homes being marketed for sale which will provide current and would-be buyers with more opportunities to find the home that meets their needs.

Throughout the first 11 months of the year, home sales activity in the region has increased by 2.7% compared to January-November 2023. Year-to-date sales in 2024 reached 15,974, up from the 15,549 sales recorded during the period a year ago. The median price during the first 11 months of 2024 reached $295,500, a 5.4% increase from the $280,000 mark recorded during the period a year ago.
