Push 4 Pencils is the annual school supply drive for Crayons to Computers. It’s a sobering reality that Cincinnati is one of the poorest cities in the country. The overall poverty rate in Cincinnati is nearly 30% compared to 14% nationally. Families struggling to put food on their tables cannot prioritize purchasing school supplies. We need your help preparing more than 120,000 students for return to school.

Picture a child at school trying to write without a pencil, read without books or dream without the tools to put her ideas on paper. This is the reality for far too many students in our community. For thousands, basic learning tools are a luxury. In fact, 61% of the students in Hamilton County come from families that can’t afford lunch, let alone school supplies.

That’s why the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati Community Outreach Committee is partnering with Crayons to Computers to ensure teachers can provide their students in need with the tools to succeed in school. We will be hosting a school supply drive to benefit teachers and their students in need. Our goal is to collect nearly $2,000 in supplies.

From July 1 to Aug. 13, you can collect and drop off items or donate supplies or monetary donations online. 

We will have a drop-off collection during the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) Open House on August 13 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

ONLINE: For every $10 donation made through the Push 4 Pencils online store by August 12, 2024, your name will be entered into the hopper for a free lunch for (up to 10 people) provided by RAGC for your office. 

 IN-PERSON DROP-OFF: The office that collects the most supplies from the Sorting Sheet and drops them off to the Crayons to Computers van during the  RAGC Open House on August 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will receive a free lunch (up to 10 people) provided by RAGC for their office.

Pack your supplies in boxes (copy paper boxes preferred) for easy delivery during our Open House event.
