Support the Real Estate Community Build with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati

The REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity Greater Cincinnati to support the annual Real Estate Community Build—and we are calling on our members and industry partners to lead.
RAGC has committed to match up to $10,000 in donations, dollar-for-dollar, in support of this initiative. Every contribution made by our members and brokerages will be doubled, amplifying the impact for families in our region working toward homeownership.
Make your donation today and help maximize this collective investment in our community.
Why Your Support Matters
Communities across our region, including Cincinnati, are facing a growing housing affordability challenge. Rising construction costs, limited entry-level housing inventory, and increasing financial barriers have made homeownership difficult for many working families.
Your support directly helps close the gap between the cost to build a home and what a family can afford. More importantly, it helps provide access to safe, stable housing—one of the most effective ways to build long-term financial security and generational stability.
What Your Contribution Supports
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati creates pathways to first-time homeownership for families with low to moderate incomes through its Affordable Homeownership Program.
This model includes:
- Construction of high-quality, modest starter homes
- Partnership with homebuyers who actively participate in building their homes alongside volunteers
- Access to 0% interest mortgages with no down payment required
- Financial education and home maintenance training to support long-term success
Due to rising material and labor costs, the cost to build a home often exceeds its affordable sale price. Community-driven initiatives like the Real Estate Community Build are essential to bridging that gap.
Real Estate Community Build
The Real Estate Community Build brings together professionals across the real estate industry to collectively fund and build a Habitat home.
This initiative reflects our industry’s shared commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. By investing in affordable homeownership, we are not only supporting individual families, but also contributing to a more stable and resilient regional housing market.
Volunteer Opportunities
In addition to financial support, members are encouraged to participate in the build experience.
Working alongside colleagues and peers on the job site provides a meaningful opportunity to strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and see the direct impact of this work in action.
Volunteer capacity is limited to 10 individuals per shift.
